Maruichi Leavitt Pipe & Tube products are manufactured by the electric resistance welded process, using black carbon steel hot coils, pickled hot coils, and cold rolled coils. Our equipment has been developed and tailored to reduce labor costs while satisfying our customers specific needs for quality products. All flat-rolled carbon steel which is used to produce our tubing and pipe is ordered to exacting specifications, and then formed to close industry standards to maintain quality in the finished product. These high standards are carried over to our production process. Dedicated operators and engineers make use of sophisticated on-line testing equipment to ensure that our customers receive a superior product. Our modern technology permits the most efficient production possible and our highest quality products.

What is LEEDs? According to the U.S. Green Building Council, it's an acronym for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED.) This is a nationally recognized certification system designed to standardize green building design and fabrication. For additional details, check out their informative website (www.usgbc.org).
Maruichi Leavitt Pipe & Tube generates, upon request, certification letters for LEED developments. In this documentation, we provide the recycled steel content of our tubing as required for LEED projects.
Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for Hollow Structural Sections (HSS) and related products such as standard pipe and mechanical tubing. This EPD can be used to calculate credits within the LEEDv4 rating system and to meet a growing number of procurement requirements for government and industry, including Buy Clean legislation.
